When Unapplied Payments are made for A/R accounts, users can mark the payments as Refundable or Non-Refundable by enabling/disabling the Non-Refundable flag on the Make a Payment screen (A/R account ➜ Unapplied Payments ➜ More ➜ Make Payment).
Users can also mark the payments made for the invoices as Refundable or Non-Refundable by enabling/disabling the Non-Refundable flag on the Make Payment screen (A/R account ➜ Invoices ➜ Make Payment). This flag is applicable only for manual payments, and not if the user chooses unapplied payments to pay the invoice.
The Non-Refundable payments made are indicated by the Non-Refundable Payment indicator in the payment record created.
